Researching Black Holes
Without any research in the world, life would just be plain with nothing in the world. Either than the three key elements, scientists use telescopes. As you know, black holes are invisible. So how do scientists research black holes with telescopes? Instead of looking at black holes, they look around the whole space. If they detect something disappearing, they question themselves if a black hole had something to do with it or not.
Another thing that helps are binary stars. Binary stars are two stars that orbit empty space. Black holes also orbit empty space so there is a similarity with those two things in space. On February 2004, astronomers detected x-rays from an unclassified object that was labeled to be unseen. The object had very absurd gravitational pull. The only thing in space that cannot be seen is a black hole and black holes are known to be filled with gravity so they had just detected x-rays from a black hole! Unfortunately, that was the only x-ray scientists received. |
